Event Overview

The Last Person Standing by Flint Creek Endurance is a endurance competition located in Gentry, Arkansas. The event takes place at 13616 Taylor Orchard Rd and features a continuous loop format. Participants must complete a 1-mile loop within a specific time limit to stay in the competition.

Competition Rules

The event follows a strict set of regulations to determine the winner:

  • Each participant must complete the 1-mile loop within 20 minutes.
  • A new loop starts every 20 minutes exactly.
  • Participants must be at the start line when the next loop begins to avoid disqualification.
  • No external assistance, pacing, or outside aid is permitted during the event.
  • Participants under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian onsite at all times.

The race continues until only one runner remains who can successfully complete a loop within the time limit. If no runner can finish a loop within the 20-minute window, no winner is declared.

Prize Structure

This event utilizes a unique prize pot system. At check-in, every participant is issued a $20 bill. Once a runner is eliminated from the race, their $20 is added to the collective event pot. The final person standing, who completes a loop when no others can, wins the entire pot. The total prize amount is determined by the total number of entrants.

Facilities and Logistics

While participants must be self-sufficient during their loops, they are permitted to rest, refuel, and hydrate in the area between consecutive loops. The course is marked, and runners are required to follow the designated path at all times. The event is scheduled to proceed regardless of weather conditions unless officials determine the environment is unsafe. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
