Klapperkop Road or Trail Run/Walk
Klapperkop Road or Trail Run/Walk is organised by Revolution Trails at Klapperkop Nature Reserve in Pretoria. The event is open to road runners and trail runners and does not require a licence. Entrance is via the Johann Rissik Drive gate only.
Distances and standard online entry fees are:
- 2 km - R80
- 5 km - R110
- 10 km - R130
- 15 km - R150
Kids under 13 years and adults over 60 years pay R80 for applicable distances. On-the-day entries incur an additional R30 except for those qualifying for the kids and pensioners rate.
Route and venue details note that walking or hiking is permitted on all distances provided participants finish by the event cut-off time. The road option uses only roads within the reserve and does not use public roads. Water tables are available on all routes.
Amenities at the venue include snacks and drinks. Entry includes a marked route, water tables, a finisher medal, venue entry, and parking, and Vitality points are awarded. Pets are not permitted. There are no refunds for weather-related cancellations and online entries are non-transferable. Cash, card, and SnapScan are accepted on the day. All ages are welcome.
