Kettle Cooker Trail Race - Glenroy Preserve
The Kettle Cooker Trail Race takes place on October 4, 2026 at Glenroy Preserve, Nottingham, PA. The event offers loop courses that use the preserve trails and include undulating hills, mixed terrain, and multiple creek crossings. The terrain can be technical in parts and trail specific running shoes are recommended for traction and drainage. Bibs must be worn on the front of the body.
Distances offered:
- 5 Miles : a single loop with about 3 creek crossings.
- 25K (15.5 Miles) : follows the 5 mile loop then diverts; at least 6 creek crossings.
- 50K (32 Miles) : two loops of the 25K; aid stations passed twice.
There are four aid stations on course with approximate mileage locations. Aid Station 1 (mile 2.5) provides water and light snacks. Aid Station 2 (mile 4) is an unmanned water cache. Aid Station 3 (mile 7) offers water, cola, pickle shots, snacks, seasonal fruit, and a porta potty. Aid Station 4 (mile 10) includes water, cola, snacks, PBJ, cheese quesadillas, boiled potatoes, NA beer, and Fireball shots. Aid Station 3 is encountered twice on the 25K and 50K.
Registered entries include a timed bib, race shirt, water and on-course nutrition, post race food and a complimentary beer for those 21 and over. Packet pickup is scheduled for October 3 at Lola's in Oxford, PA with limited race day pickup available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
