About the race
The Kenton Rhino Run is a community road and coastal trail event held at Jerry's Kenton in Kenton-on-Sea, Eastern Cape, South Africa. The event raises funds for the Chipembere Rhino Foundation and supports on-the-ground conservation work such as rangers, K9 anti-poaching units and monitoring technology.
The event is part of Kenton Rhino Rising, a weekend of conservation activities that grew from a community run first held in 2013. The weekend combines running with other outdoor and conservation-focused events that celebrate the local landscape and community.
