Kenton Rhino Run 2026 : Kenton Rhino Rising weekend
The Kenton Rhino Run takes place in Kenton-on-Sea at Jerry's Kenton and is presented as part of Kenton Rhino Rising, a weekend of conservation and community events. Sponsors and supporters include Pam Golding Properties Kenton-on-Sea, Outdoor Focus and the Kenton Boesmans Chamber of Business & Tourism. All proceeds support the Chipembere Rhino Foundation.

Entry fees are published per distance and by ticket type in South African rand. Examples include single entry, group rates for parties of ten or more, and late-entry pricing. Specific published prices include R190, R160 and R70 for single entries across the longer to shorter distances, with lower group rates and higher late fees for each distance.
Group bookings for ten or more qualify for the group rate. The event has a history dating back to 2013 and began with 513 finishers; it was inspired by Thandi, a poaching survivor from Kariega Game Reserve. Proceeds fund on-the-ground conservation work through the Chipembere Rhino Foundation, including support for rangers, K9 anti-poaching units, monitoring technology and related interventions.
Kenton Rhino Rising combines the run with additional activities across the weekend such as river swims, community and endurance cycle rides, padel and drone displays, a conservation workshop, a campfire conversation, a film screening and other community events.
