About the race

The Ken Freeman Huff, Puff, then Stuff 5K is a Thanksgiving morning community run/walk held in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. The course uses the Hot Springs Greenway and both the start and finish are located at the Transportation Depot. The event offers a 5K distance and all finishers receive a commemorative finisher's medal. Long-sleeved event shirts will be distributed, with a limited inventory noted.

Packet pickup is available the day before the race and on race morning at the Transportation Depot; pickup times are specified by the organizer. There will not be a postrace awards ceremony, though winning categories will be posted on RunSignUp and overall male and female winners are noted to receive a seasonal prize.

Registration details provided by the organizer include an entry fee of $25.00 and specified registration open and close dates. Net proceeds from the event benefit Hot Springs Friends of the Parks, with funds directed toward expanding the multi-use trail system in Hot Springs.
