KCS WF SAREE RUN
The KCS WF Saree Run is a 5K event on October 4, 2026, held at Oatlands Historic House and Gardens in Leesburg, Virginia. The event is organized by the KCSMW Women’s Forum to raise awareness and support for breast cancer awareness.
The course is mostly grass with rolling hills, some wooded trails, and two creek crossings. Runners should expect short hills with sharp inclines. Dogs and strollers are not permitted on the race course.
Registration details include a standard entry fee of $35 for the primary 5K category. A 5K category for ages 12 and under is listed as free but requires running or walking with a registered adult. Kids ages 9 and under are noted as eligible to participate for free and will receive a medal. All participants ages 12 and under receive a finisher’s medal. T-shirts and medals are provided to participants; t-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations made after September 21, 2026. Youth participants aged 12 and under may purchase a race t-shirt for $15 if ordered by September 21, 2026. A group discount reduces the total fee by $50 for groups of 10 or more.
