About the race
KCS WF SAREE RUN takes place on October 4, 2026 at Oatlands Historic House and Gardens, 20850 Oatlands Plantation Ln, Leesburg, VA 20175. The event is organized by the KCSMW Women’s Forum to raise awareness and support for Breast Cancer Awareness.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5K
- 5K (Ages 12 and under must run or walk with a registered adult)
Participants receive a race t-shirt and a finisher's medal. T-shirt availability is not guaranteed after 9/20/26. Participants ages 12 and under will receive a finisher's medal; those ages 12 and under may purchase a race t-shirt during registration for $15.00 by 9/20/26. The standard 5K registration fee is $35.00. A group discount of $50 off the total applies for groups of 10 or more.
The course is mostly grass, with rolling hills, some wooded trails, and two creek crossings. Runners can expect some short hills with sharp inclines. Dogs and strollers are not permitted on the race course. The event is open to participants ages 7 and above. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
