Karoo Poison 2026
Karoo Poison 2026 is the sixth edition of a combined gravel bike race and trail running event held at Leeuwenboschfontein Guest Farm in the Nougaspoort area above the Koo valley, Langeberg Local Municipality, Western Cape. The event takes place on 5 September 2026 and is organised by Koo Primary School.
The programme includes gravel bike races, trail runs, a toddler run and bike race, food stalls and entertainment. Camping and self-catering accommodation are available at Leeuwenboschfontein Guest Farm. Goodie bags are provided to the first 200 entries. Online entries close on 1 September 2026; late entries are accepted on race day. Registration is available on the day before and the day of the event.

- 2 km Toddler run bike pram day entries only
The 52 km gravel route includes a small loop of about 14 km on a farm, with roughly 2 km of sandy surface that is rideable on gravel bikes though a mountain bike may be preferred for that section.
