Java Jog at Case Creek Trails
The Java Jog is a coffee-themed fun run and walk held at Case Creek Trails overlooking Case Creek Valley in Coal Valley, IL (7625 120th Avenue). The event offers the following distances:
- 2K
- 5K
The course passes through pastures and woodlands and includes multiple on-course aid and coffee stations. In partnership with PULSE 84 Energy Station, each participant receives a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate after the run. A nutrition table will offer additional treats.
The event is organized as a non-timed fun run, so individual finish times are not recorded and participants may walk or run at their own pace. Proceeds support The Rock Island County Animal Care & Control Shelter through QC PAWS.
Optional race swag is available and includes items such as a custom T-shirt, a finisher medal or dog tag, and a custom race bib. Swag choices are linked to registration timing. Cost information from the organizer lists adult fees for ages 16 and up ranging from $27.50 to $44.50 and a youth fee of $15.50 for ages 5 to 15 when accompanied by an adult.
