About the race
Ironwood24 Ultra Trail Run is a timed endurance event held on private property at 224 Meredith Rd, Black Hill NSW. Runners complete laps on a scenic trail course of about 7 km per lap with roughly 300 m elevation gain each lap. The event offers multi-format participation over the weekend, including team and solo endurance formats and a separate children’s event.
The event weekend includes on-site camping, music, communal firepits, food service and a coffee cart. Awards are given for overall winners, fastest lap and a best group dress-up lap; all participants receive an environmentally friendly race medal.
Available event formats:
- Team Relay 24 hour, teams of 2 to 6, one runner per lap
- Solo 24 hour, individual maximum laps in 24 hours
- Solo 12 hour, individual maximum laps in 12 hours
- Kids 24 minute run, approximately 1.4 km, includes stairs and hills
The kids run is free for children of registered adults; children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult. Each child in the kids run receives an engraved wooden medal.
