Indian Trail 5K Run, Kids Mile, & Non-Competitive 5K Walk
The event takes place on the grounds of Mississinewa High School in Gas City, IN. It comprises a kids mile, a 5K run, and a non-competitive 5K walk held on the school athletic complex.

The 5K run is a fundraiser for the Mississinewa Cross Country program, which includes the high school team, the middle school team, and the Indians Elementary running club. The course follows the perimeter of the athletic fields and includes multiple loops through woods adjacent to the fields.
Registration fees listed by the organizer are $10.00 for the kids mile and $25.00 for each 5K event. Registration opens August 4, 2026 and closes October 31, 2026.
Discounts are available for military, first responders, Mississinewa cross country alumni, teachers, and current middle school or high school cross country or track athletes.
Awards include top finishers in the kids mile, top overall and age division winners for the 5K run, special awards for the youngest and oldest 5K run finishers, and top finishers for the 5K walk. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
