Indian Summer Ultra
The Indian Summer Ultra is a trail run in the province of Drenthe with distances that exceed 100 km and with at least 95% of the route on unpaved terrain. The 10th edition is scheduled for 10 October 2026. The published start location is Camping Lente van Drenthe in Gasselte.
Event distances include:
- 100 km solo, 14 hour time limit, fee €80 incl. donation
- 75 km solo, 14 hour time limit, fee €70 incl. donation
- 50 km solo, 10.5 hour time limit, fee €50 incl. €2.50 donation
- 100 km team, 3 to 5 persons, 14 hour time limit, fee €130 incl. donation
The event offers a finisher medal, waymarked routes and extensive refreshment and aid stations. Live tracking is available for the 75 km and 100 km solo races when there are sufficient participants. A fixed amount from each registration is donated to a local nature project through the Sport4Nature initiative. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
