About the race
The event is a cross country trail run held on 11/21/2026 at the Villanova Preparatory campus in Ojai, CA. The course is a 3 mile loop that stays entirely within the campus and starts and finishes on the track.
The course surface is mostly dirt (about 90%) with some loose asphalt. Terrain includes rolling sections and steep hills, limited shade, and specific landmarks along the route such as Shady Glen, Archery Site, Deer Hallow, and Resurrection Hill. The final mile is rolling and returns to the track for the finish. For safety, dogs and strollers are not allowed on the course.
Registration information notes a fee of $30 and a window from 9/13/2026 through 11/15/2026. Registration includes electronic timing, a commemorative finisher medal, and a t-shirt, though t-shirts are limited. After race snacks are provided. There is an optional paid upgrade to have a personal name or a business name printed on the back of the commemorative t-shirt for an additional fee of $50 for a name or $100 for a business name.
