Hotter N' Hell Trail Run
The Hotter N' Hell Trail Run is scheduled for July 24, 2027 in Pelham, Alabama, and is organized by Southeastern Trail Runs. The event is held at the Cedar Pavilion in Oak Mountain State Park, located at the south end of Double Oak Lake. Runners must enter the park through the south gate near I-65; park entry requires a $5 fee per person. Parking is available in the large lot at the end of Terrace Drive in front of the Dogwood Pavilion.

The course climbs to the top of Double Oak Mountain, descends into Peavine Gorge, and returns toward the mountain top, with an extra aid station located near Peavine Falls. The organizer emphasizes the effect of heat on the course and recommends careful attention to hydration and electrolyte intake.
