The Horseshoe Hill Climb
The Horseshoe Hill Climb is a trail running event held at Marmon Valley Farm in Zanesfield, Ohio on November 7, 2026. The event offers three distances and raises money for summer horse camp scholarships that help children from economically challenged families attend camp.
Trails run across Marmon Valley’s 500 acres and include bridle trails, farm lanes, open meadows, hardwood forest, ravine trails, fields, creeks, and scenic overlooks. No trails are paved and sections may be muddy. The course is laid out as a 10K loop; the terrain is hilly with a total ascent of 509 feet and a maximum elevation of 1,454 feet. Race timing is provided by All Sports Timing.
Awards and race items: trophies are given to the top male and female finisher in each distance; recipients must be present to receive awards. A t-shirt is included with registration; sizes are guaranteed only for registrations completed by October 21. Registrations are non-refundable. The race will be held rain or shine, though the Race Director may cancel or modify parts of the event for safety; no refunds will be given if cancellation is required for safety reasons.
