Hope on the Trail : Thorntown, IN
Hope on the Trail is a community running event held on the Farm Heritage Trail at 300 North Pearl St., corner of N. Pearl and E. Church streets, Thorntown, IN 46071. The event includes in-person and virtual options and directs proceeds to support orphaned, abandoned and impoverished children in Ethiopia.
The event program includes the following distances:
- 10K Run, reserved for runners only
- 5K Run or Walk, open to runners and walkers
- 1 Mile Fun Run (not timed), medal provided as quantity allows, no shirt or race bib
- Virtual 5K or 10K, participants choose time and place, shirt and medal mailed
Registration and fees are set per event. Registration opens in late December 2025 for most events and closes on 09/25/2026. Published registration fees are $40.00 for the 10K, $40.00 for the 5K, $1.00 for the 1 Mile Fun Run, and $40.00 for the virtual 5K or 10K. Virtual entries may join a fundraising challenge and form teams as part of the event program.
