Hoopomani 5K Run/Walk
The Hoopomani 5K Run/Walk takes place at Kenbrook Bible Camp on November 7, 2026. The event uses a course that includes trails, paths, and pavement and is open to runners and walkers of all ages. A separate Kids Fun Run is offered for ages 10 and under.
Proceeds support the Kenbrook Camper Scholarship Fund in memory of a longtime friend and former Board member. Timing and finish-line services are provided by Pretzel City Sports, and official race results are posted by that timing service.
Entry fees for the 5K are tiered by registration date: a reduced fee is offered for registrations received by October 5, which includes a Hoopomani t-shirt while supplies last; entries received after October 5 including race day are charged a higher fee and t-shirts are available while supplies last. Size requests for shirts are honored when possible.
Awards include a medal and a $50 gift card for the overall male and female champions. Additional awards are presented to the top two male and top two female finishers in each age bracket: 0-19, 20-39, 40-59, and 60+.
A pancake breakfast is held after the race; it is free for 5K participants and available to others for a modest fee for ages five and up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
