Hit the Trails Family Fun Run
The event takes place on the trails next to Trailside Elementary School and Service High School at 5151 Abbott Road, Anchorage, AK 99507. It welcomes participants of all ages (humans only) and can be run, jogged, or walked.
Distances offered:
- 2K (1.24 Miles)
- 5K (3.11 Miles)
Base registration fees are listed as follows: adult 2K and 5K $20 rising to $30 starting October 4; youth (16 and under) 2K and 5K $15 rising to $25 starting October 4; family of five or more (choose 2K or 5K) $70 rising to $80 starting October 4. Registration fees increase by $10 one week prior to the event.
Event pick-up includes race bibs and t-shirts if ordered. Packet pick-up is scheduled at Trailside Elementary School on Friday October 9 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. and on Saturday October 10 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. There is an option to order a race shirt without race participation; race shirt orders must be placed by Monday September 12 to be guaranteed by race day. Only one group t-shirt order will be placed, and any extra shirts available at packet pick-up will be sold first come, first served. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
