Hit the Trails Family Fun Run
This event takes place on 10/10/2026 at 5151 Abbott Road, Anchorage, AK 99507, on the trails next to Trailside Elementary School and Service High School. The event offers short-distance trail running, jogging, or walking for participants of all ages; pets are not allowed.
Distances
- 2K (1.24 Miles)
- 5K (3.11 Miles)
There are adult and youth categories: adults 17 and older and youth 16 and under. A family option for five or more people lets the group choose either the 2K or the 5K distance.
Fees before October 4 are: adults $20, youth $15, family of five or more $70. Registration fees increase by $10 starting October 4, making adults $30, youth $25, and family $80 after that change.
Packet pick-up is at Trailside Elementary School on Friday October 9 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday October 10 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.; packet pick-up includes race bibs and t-shirts if ordered. Race shirts must be ordered by Monday September 12 to be available by race day; a limited number of extra shirts may be available for purchase at packet pick-up on a first come, first served basis.
