About the race
Hilloween is a community costume event held on October 24, 2026 at Omao Dirt Track in Koloa, HI, on land provided by the Knudsen Trust with support from the Garden Island Motorcycle Club.

The 5K Trail Run is an off-road course no longer than 3.1 miles with hills, obstacles, and views of the south shore of Kauai. Costumes are strongly encouraged and prizes are awarded for best costumes. The first 100 trail runners to register are guaranteed an event T-shirt. KIF high school cross country team members can run free or pay a reduced fee to receive a T-shirt.
The Keiki Trick-Or-Treat Run is a short, easy off-road course for ages 0 to 12 with trick-or-treat stations and a Hilloween tote bag for participants. Any child 12 and under who registers for the 5K may participate in the Keiki run at no additional charge.
A virtual 5K option is available; virtual participants receive an event T-shirt. The event is pet-friendly and includes a pet costume contest. Food and drinks will be available from Da Wicked Brew. Proceeds benefit the Kauai Ballet Academy Foundation to provide dance tuition scholarships for youth in need. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
