Highlander Assault Obstacle Race
Highlander Assault Obstacle Race takes place in Pingree Grove, Illinois on August 7, 2027. The event uses a Scottish Highlander theme and features multiple obstacle race formats across the day, including competitive heats and open heats.
Available course formats and distances include:
- 50K endurance competitive heat with 100 to 120 obstacles
- 15K competitive and open heats with about 20 to 35 obstacles
- 5K open heats with about 20 to 30 obstacles
- 3K Family Frenzy open heats with about 12 to 15 obstacles
- 5K torch lit night event called Dark Ages Night Obstacle Race
- 5K Haunted Highlander Trail Run with live actors and animatronics
Obstacle types listed for the course include technical monkey bar rigs, atlas stone carries, archery elements, and caber carries. The Dark Ages Night event includes illuminated obstacles and bonfires and offers a competitive heat. The Haunted Highlander Trail Run does not have a competitive option and is focused on themed scenes.
