Hedianga Trail Run takes place at Hedianga Farm Trails in Olympus AH, Pretoria, Gauteng. The event offers multiple marked trail routes with water tables and a finisher medal for participants. Available distances and standard online entry fees:
- 2 km : R80
- 5 km : R110
- 10 km : R130
- 15 km : R150
Reduced entry fee R80 applies to children under 13 years and adults over 60 years for selected classes. On-the-day entry carries an additional R30 except for the reduced-fee categories where no extra on-the-day charge applies. Entry includes a marked route, water tables, finisher medal, venue entry, parking and Vitality points. No license is required to take part.
Route information describes technical terrain with notable elevation figures: about 120 m for the 5 km, about 290 m for the 10 km, and about 360 m for the 15 km. The 10 km route includes several long climbs and descents. The last 5 km of the 15 km is described as very challenging and participants are advised to consider switching to the 10 km at the route split if necessary. Walking and hiking are allowed on all distances. Water tables are available on all routes.
