Hayterdale Classic MTB Race & Trail Run 2026
The Hayterdale Classic takes place over two days at Hayterdale Trails in Addo, Eastern Cape. The event combines trail running and mountain bike racing across separate competition days.
Trail running is scheduled for Saturday 12 September 2026 and mountain bike racing for Sunday 13 September 2026. The program includes several distance options with published entry fees and separate age categories for each distance.
Trail run distances and entry fees:
- 21 km Trail Run R380
- 10 km Trail Run R280
- 6 km Trail Run R180
MTB race distances and entry fees:
- 40 km MTB and E-bike R380
- 20 km MTB R280
- 12 km MTB R180
Age rules are stated per distance. For the trail run: 21 km is open to participants aged 16 years and older, 10 km from 8 years and older, and 6 km to all ages; participants under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult. For the MTB race: the 40 km e-bike category is for 19 years and older, 40 km MTB for 15 years and older, and the 20 km and 12 km from 8 years and older; participants under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult.
