Hawkhurst 10k & 5k
The Hawkhurst 10k & 5k is a community running event held at The Moor in Hawkhurst, Kent on 20 June 2027. The race is in its seventh year and is organised to raise funds for local projects that benefit the Hawkhurst area.
The course is described as multi terrain and undulating and runs around the Moor. Detailed route maps, including GPX files, are available for participants.

The event includes free parking, spot prizes, bespoke medals, trophies and other prizes. Finish-line features include cakes provided by the local WI, a free half pint of beer for finishers, finish-line selfie frames and Father’s Day freebies. There are ice cream and coffee vans and pop-up stalls, and a mass warm up with Serida Fitness. Marshals and local spectators provide on-course support.
The race raises funds for community groups. In 2026 the event supported several local organisations, including The Hawkhurst Community Hospital League for Friends, Hands of Hope Community Garden, Hawkhurst Foodbank, Hawkhurst Junior Football Club, Hawkhurst Gang Bonfire Society and the Hawkhurst Scouts and Guides.
