Turbo Trot & Mini Road Race Rally - Geneva
The Turbo Trot & Mini Road Race Rally is a fundraiser hosted by the Geneva Park District featuring three family-oriented racing events at Peck Farm North Trail and the Stephen Persinger Recreation Center. The event includes running races and a new Mini Road Race Rally for young drivers.
Race distances:
- 2.5 mile Lightning Run
- 1 mile Short Circuit Kids Race
- Mini Road Race Rally for ages 3 to 8
The Lightning Run is open to all ages and includes an official Turbo Trot t-shirt and a complimentary beer for participants aged 21 and over with valid ID. The Short Circuit Kids Race includes an official t-shirt and a participation ribbon for every runner. Registrations received by August 30 are guaranteed an official Turbo Trot t-shirt by race day.
The Mini Road Race Rally uses battery-powered ride-on vehicles provided by the organizer; participants compete in six-lap heats. Top three finishers in each heat receive awards, and food and beverages are included for Mini Rally participants. Awards for the 2.5 mile race include top overall male and female finishers and first and second place in specified age groups. All proceeds support the Geneva Park District Scholarship Fund, which helps provide recreational access and opportunities to the community.
