2026 Harvest Hustle 5k and 10k
The Harvest Hustle is a trail running event held on November 8 at Walnut Creek Park in North Garden, VA. The event includes both a 5k and a 10k race and points count toward the organizer's Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack series, as well as the Fall Series.
The course is a cross country trail with noticeable elevation changes, rocks, and roots. Water stations are located on the courses: the 10k has three stations at about mile markers 2.1, 3.1, and 5.2; the 5k has one station at about mile marker 2.1. Restrooms are available on site.
Runners receive a finisher medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. T shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before October 28; additional shirts may be available after that date on a first come first served basis. Registration fees vary by distance and increase on specified dates and on race morning.
The race benefits Rikki's Refuge and lists the charity mission and activities related to animal welfare, spay and neuter promotion, humane education, and maintenance of natural woodlands. Results are posted live and final results with series points are published after the event. Packet pickup and race day registration are available at the venue.
