Kensington Harvest Festival Race Day
The event is an out and back running route along the Confederation Trail, beginning just south of Kensington. The course follows a well-maintained crushed stone trail, with approximately 95% of the route on a smooth, unpaved surface. The route passes rolling farmlands, wooded sections and open landscapes and is predominantly flat with gradual rolling sections.
There are minimal road crossings and virtually no vehicle traffic along the trail. Water stations are positioned throughout the course and volunteers and supporters provide encouragement. The finish area is part of the Harvest Festival celebration where friends, family and participants gather after the race.
