Harting Multi-terrain '10' 2027
Liss Runners stages a volunteer-run multi-terrain race in the South Downs National Park at War Memorial Sports Ground, South Harting, on 01 August 2027. The main event is a 10-mile route over private lanes, gravel tracks, bridleways and footpaths. The course has mile markers and two water stations.
All finishers receive a unique medal. Spot prizes include a chance to win one of two pairs of Hoka trainers. Trophies and cash prizes are awarded 1st to 3rd for male and female overall, and 1st male and female in vets categories V40, V50, V60 and V70. The event supports the Rosemary Foundation, a local hospice-at-home charity.
Venue facilities at race HQ include free parking on the sports field, portable toilets in the Pavilion and supervised storage for bags and belongings. Teas, cold drinks and a selection of home-made cakes are served from the Pavilion. A free kids fun run for ages 4 to 14 takes place on the sports field while the main race is underway; medals are provided for all children who take part.
Entrants must be at least 18 years old for the main race. Dogs, buggies and over or in-ear headphones are not permitted; bone conducting headphones are allowed. Timing is by precision chip timing from Emit UK. Entrants should be able to complete the course within 2 hours 30 minutes; competitors behind schedule at the 6.5 mile water station may be withdrawn and returned to the finish by car.
