Harbin Branch Veterans Run, Mountain City TN
Harbin Branch Veterans Run takes place on November 7, 2026 at Doe Mountain Recreation Area in Mountain City, TN. The event is sanctioned by USATF and uses Doe Mountain's nonmotorized trail system.

All 4 Miler and 6 Miler participants receive a race logo beanie and a finisher award; there is no race t-shirt. 1K Fun Walk registration does not include a beanie, but a beanie may be added for $20 at registration.
The running courses have a 2.5 hour cutoff; the 1K Fun Walk is untimed. Course details list approximate elevation gain: the 4 Miler has about 350 feet of gain and follows the hiking loop (Trail 2) plus the switchbacks behind the Adventure Center (Trail 112). The 6 Miler has about 600 feet of gain and covers the 4 Miler course plus a new loop connected to Trail 2.
Awards include top three women and men in both distances, and the top woman and man veteran in both distances. A veteran and student discount code VETSTUDENT offers 40 percent off registration. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Mountain City Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization, and registrants may add an extra donation. No refunds, bib transfers, or deferrals are permitted.
