Happy Girls Bend Run
Happy Girls Bend Run is a running and walking event in Bend, Oregon, with multiple race distances and a family-friendly kids program. The start and finish areas are at Riverbend Park. Course maps are available on Ride With GPS.
Race distances include:
- Half marathon
- 10K
- 5K
Packet pick-up takes place at Hotworx Bend (1462 Northeast Cushing), where participants can collect bibs, race shirts, and event materials. Gear drop tags are provided at packet pick-up and on site; a bag drop tent is available for use on event day.
Aid stations on course supply GU Electrolyte Drink and GU gels. Medical support and event staff are present along the route. Event apparel and finisher items include a finisher’s medal for all finishers and a choice of a soft sweatshirt or a performance t-shirt as a registration option (t-shirt $30, sweatshirt $55). Gift bags and awards are given to the top three finishers in open and masters categories.
The event includes a post-race celebration at Riverbend Park with food, beverages, local vendors, and race-day merchandise. The Happy Little Kids Run offers age-appropriate distances with bibs and finisher ribbons for participants aged 3 to 10 (one to three laps depending on age). A separate nine-week beginner women’s training program is offered and led by an RRCA-certified coach.
