Hamburg Hustle: September 12, 2026
Hamburg Hustle is the first annual trail 5K held at Hamburg State Park in Warthen, GA. The course begins in front of the park's historic grist mill and museum, follows a nature trail, and continues along lakeside sections of the red and white trails before returning to the park office on muscadine lined trails. An aid station is located at the halfway point with additional water and snacks. Race day refreshments such as coffee, snacks, and fruit are available at the starting area.
The event lists a single distance, 5K, and does not use age group categories. Organizers describe the course as flat and note that it is entirely on trail with no paved road sections. Participants should watch for roots, rocks, and wildlife. Walkers may take part but are asked to allow runners to start ahead for safety.
A commemorative shirt is guaranteed for participants who have completed registration by September 1. Each vehicle parking for the race must display a valid Georgia State Park pass or obtain one at the event parking area.
