Halloween Havoc Half Marathon
Scheduled for October 24, 2026 in Pelham, Alabama at Oak Mountain State Park, this night trail event is organized by Zombie Trail Races. The event offers two loop distances and includes post race refreshments and awards.
Distances:
- 13 Miler: loop course; one full aid station at the halfway point.
- 6 Miler: loop course; water stop at the halfway point.
The trail course mixes challenging hills, smooth single track, and jeep road. Cut-offs are described as generous, allowing participants to run or hike the course. A headlamp and hydration are required for all participants.
Finishers receive a race shirt and a custom race pint glass. Pizza, adult and non-adult refreshments, and music are available at the finish. Awards are given for places 1 through 3 for male and female finishers in both distances. Costumes are encouraged and there are best costume awards for places 1 through 3.
