40th Parnitha Run
The 40th anniversary edition of the Parnitha Run is organized by the Hellenic Mountaineering Club of Acharnes (EOS Acharnon) and the Municipality of Acharnes. This year's event coincides with the 50th anniversary of the founding of EOS Acharnon. The event aims to promote mountain sports and physical activity while providing participants with an opportunity to visit Mount Parnitha.
The event features two distinct courses:
- 16 km: A long distance course for adult men and women.
- 4 km: A shorter distance course designed for children under the age of 16.
The starting and finishing point for both races is located on the road approximately 100 meters before the Agia Triada area on Mount Parnitha. Participants on the 16 km route will have access to two water stations along the course. Medical care will be available to handle any emergencies during the event.
Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each gender and age category. Additionally, all participants receive commemorative medals for their completion of the race. Registration is conducted exclusively through an online process and must be completed by a designated deadline prior to the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
