Event Overview
The Guadarun - Marathon des Iles is a multi-stage adventure raid located in the Guadeloupe archipelago in the Caribbean region. This event covers a total distance of 150 km divided into six distinct stages across six different islands. Participants transition through various landscapes and island environments throughout the week-long program.
The competition features the following distances and locations:
- 15 km trail on Terre de Bas (Les Saintes)
- 15 km trail on Terre de Haut (Les Saintes)
- 15 km trail on Marie-Galante
- 22 km trail on La Désirade
- 15 km trail on Grande-Terre (Saint-François)
- 15 km trail on Basse-Terre (Goyave)
In addition to the competitive stages, the event includes a non-competitive final stage known as the Trail Fun de Deshaies on Basse-Terre island. This concluding run is designed for a convivial finish and does not count towards the general classification.
The itinerary includes an initial acclimatization day for participants upon arrival. Accommodation is organized at the Hotel Langley Resort Fort Royal, where the final trophy ceremony also takes place.
