Grayson Highlands
The event is scheduled for May 1 to 2, 2027 at Grayson Highlands State Park in Virginia. It features trail races that run through park terrain known for mountain views and wild ponies.
The event offers multiple distances:
- 50 mile: 7,500 ft of climbing, 16 hour cutoff
- 50K: 4,500 ft of climbing, 11 hour cutoff
- 25K: 2,300 ft of climbing, 6 hour cutoff
- 8 mile: 1,400 ft of climbing, 4 hour cutoff
Course maps, aid station breakdowns, and cutoff time details are provided in the event course materials and the Runners Handbook. Volunteer opportunities are part of the event organization and volunteers are thanked with free entries as noted by the organizer.
