Grand National Trail Run - Findon
The Grand National Trail Run in Findon on 19 April 2026 is an off road charity event organised by Raw Energy Pursuits. Proceeds from the event support St John the Baptist Primary School at Findon. The event is part of Grand National weekend and uses the village and surrounding South Downs landscape.
The course follows the lane up to Cissbury Ring and continues towards the Steyning bostal in the South Downs National Park. From the bostal the route runs downhill along the ancient Monarchs Way to Nepcote Green and finishes at the historic Wattle House. The route is entirely on trails and lanes rather than roads.
Distances offered include:
- 10 km
- 10 km Canicross
- 5 miles
- 2 km kids fun run
The event is timed by ST App Service; there will be no chip timing. Registration closes 17 April 2026. As part of the racing theme, participants may register a racing avatar name and there are prizes for the best Filly or Colt outfits. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
