Gone Nuts 101 Adventure Run : Tasmania
Tasmania’s Gone Nuts 101 Adventure Run is a multi-distance trail event held in North West Tasmania on Saturday February 28, 2026. The course starts at The Nut in Stanley and finishes at Wynyard Yacht Club in Wynyard, passing coastal terrain, Rocky Cape National Park, volcanic formations and temperate rainforest. A final 25 km section includes private land and coastal access not available outside race day.
Distances and entry formats:
- 101 km individual or teams of 2, 3 or 4
- 75 km individual
- 50 km individual or team of 2
- 25 km individual only (last 25 km exclusive)
Entries open October 1, 2025 and close January 31, 2026 or when the field limit is reached. The total field is limited to 1000 entrants across all races and places are allocated first come first served. Registration is online with full payment required; payment methods accepted are credit/debit card or EFT. No junior entrants under 18 for the 101 km; junior entries for the 50 km and 25 km require parental consent.
Prizes are awarded to first place male and female in each distance. The organiser holds public liability insurance; participants are responsible for their own personal insurance. Transport between Wynyard and start locations is provided by bus on race morning.
The event policy covers refunds, transfers and cancellation. Refunds before January 31, 2026 are subject to a $25 administration fee; after February 15, 2026 no refunds are given though transfers are allowed. The organiser may reschedule, alter courses or cancel for safety or other reasons and will attempt to manage entries accordingly. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
