Gomez Grind
Gomez Grind is scheduled for March 13, 2027, in Silver City, NM, and is organized by Gila Endurance Runs. The event offers two timed events: a 6 hour run and a 12 hour run held on the same course.
The course is a 5k lollipop loop that starts and finishes at Gomez Peak Pavilion. There is one aid station located at the start/finish area. The event format allows participants to run laps at their own pace, take breaks, and re-enter the course as needed; completing a single lap qualifies for a finisher award.
Entry fees are listed in a range from USD 46.02 to USD 56.65 with two offer options shown. Registration for the event closes on March 8 at 11:59 PM Mountain Time.
The venue is part of the Gomez Peak trail system and the loop is described as rugged. The event information notes both the 6 hour and 12 hour timed formats run on the same 5k loop with the same aid station and start/finish location. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
