Glenn Bass Run
The Glenn Bass Run is a community road and cross country style event held on 10/17/2026 at Sonora High School's Wildcat Ranch in East Sonora, California (14685 Tuolumne Rd, Sonora, CA 95370). The event is held in honor of Sonora's long-time cross country and track coach.
Distances offered
- 5 km entire 5k course
- 1 mile final loop of the 5k course
Races follow the same course used by local high school cross country leagues. The route runs along rolling hills framed by oak trees and open grassland and uses a figure-eight layout. Runners complete the second loop twice before a downhill finish. The 1 mile event runs the final loop of the 5k course.
Custom awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group for each race. Registration fees listed are $25 plus an online fee for the 5k and $15 plus an online fee for the 1 mile. A T-shirt is included for the first 100 participants to register. All proceeds benefit the Sonora High cross country team. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
