About the race
A multi-day trail event organised by Carlos Sá Nature Events with support from the Câmara Municipal de Terras de Bouro. The programme spans three days at Vila do Gerês and nearby locations, with an Expo Running and race secretariat operating across the weekend.
The schedule includes an Extreme Mile on Friday, an Ultra stage named Extreme 90k and a Race of 12 km on Saturday, and on Sunday races with distances approximately 42 km, 21 km, and 14 km. The Extreme 90k offers separate start groups for athletes with and without support teams. The marathon format also appears in a relay option where three team members each run roughly one third of the distance; teams may choose their relay segments on race day without prior notification to the organisation. For relay transitions and for athletes finishing early in certain segments, transport to transition points and the finish is available by buses provided by the organisation if requested.
