Gator Wilderness Camp Trail Run/Walk
The event offers trail races on the grounds of Gator Wilderness Camp School in Punta Gorda, Florida, across roughly 250 acres of woods and shaded hammocks. Distances include a main trail race program and additional family options.

All race entry proceeds benefit Gator Wilderness Camp School, a 501(c)(3) residential school for adolescent males ages 10 to 15 from Southwest Florida. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by April 1. A one-day virtual race is offered to mimic race day; virtual participants receive a shirt shipped by USPS flat rate box.
Awards are planned for overall and masters finishers in the 5k and for overall finishers in the 10k and 15k, with top three finishers in five-year age groups for both sexes. Age ranges noted for award eligibility include 5k ages 8 to 80 and 10k/15k ages 19 to 75. The kids fun dash is free but requires registration and covers a short fun run of approximately 0.20 miles.
Race operations note that starts are in three different locations with separate maps for each distance. No pets are allowed and running strollers are not permitted on the trail. Food and a BBQ ribs fundraiser will be available on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
