Garryduff Woods, Rochestown
The event takes place in Rochestown Woods, County Cork, on Sunday 11th October 2026. The course is approximately 6.80 km with about 230 m of climb and is fully waymarked. GPS use is allowed.
The route mixes technical sections, climbs and single-track trails. Road running shoes are not suitable for this course. Organisers require Level A mandatory kit: a showerproof, windproof jacket; runners must be able to carry the kit if required. Random kit checks may be carried out and failure to have the required items can lead to being denied entry or disqualified. The final kit list for carrying on race day will be confirmed at Registration, depending on conditions.
Entry fees are listed as €7 for seniors and €5 for over 65s and under 18s. Entries open Sunday 4th October 2026 at 18:00 and close Saturday 10th October 2026 at 18:00. Entry capacity is limited to 250 places.
Parking at Garryduff Sports Centre is not available. Limited parking is available near Rochestown Inn and along Upper Belmont Avenue or Upper Kensington. Participants are asked to avoid blocking the lane to the woods and to be considerate of local residents. There is no early start for this event.
