About the race
The 27th Annual Fundy Trail Cancer Walk and Run is scheduled for September 26, 2026 in St Martins, New Brunswick, and is presented by the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation at Fundy Trail Provincial Park. The event continues a community tradition first established in 2001 and is now being carried forward by the foundation.
Participants may choose from the following distances:
- 2 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
The event location is listed as Parking Lot 6, Big Salmon River, Fundy Trail Provincial Park, with the start at Fundy Trail Parkway. The course is not certified. The 10 km route is described as more demanding, and the 2 km or 5 km are recommended for primarily walking participants.
Registration details note a regular deadline of September 25, 2026 at 4:00 pm Atlantic Time and that race day registration is not available. Registration fees are CAD $25 for each distance. All proceeds support the Dr. Margot Burnell Cancer Support Program in the Saint John region, which provides care that addresses physical, emotional, and mental well being for patients, survivors, and their loved ones.
