About the race
Frozen Trail Run Fest is a trail running event on Saturday, December 12, 2026 at Howard Buford Park, Mt. Pisgah in Eugene, Oregon. The start and finish are at the horse arena staging area north of the northern trailhead; follow signs after crossing the river. Parking fees are covered by Level 32 Racing.
Distances
- 50K : four loops, each gaining 800 to 1000 feet
- 25K : two loops, each gaining 800 to 1000 feet
- 15K : one loop, climbing 900 feet
- 5K : sustained climb between 1.32 and 1.9 miles
Course information notes wet and muddy conditions on flat sections of Base Loop 1 and Base Loop 2. Summit Loop includes a short packed gravel road section, and a 0.64 mile out-and-back section to Aid 2 is gravel. The remainder of the courses uses well maintained trails of varying width and surfaces; Base Loop 1, Base Loop 2 and Summit Loop each include small creek crossings.
Aid stations are positioned according to each distance map and will include first aid, water, GU Brew, GU Energy Gel and light snacks. Events that return to the start/finish before continuing the next loop will have a transition aid station at the start/finish area and will require athletes to present their BIB number for tracking.
Entry fees are listed per distance with age discounts and a race day surcharge. Long sleeve tech shirts are available for an additional fee with an early cut-off date. Registration is available online or in person through the stated registration channels. Packet pick up occurs on race day at the start/finish area; 50K bibs are available on race morning.
