About the race
French's Ledges Trail 10K & Fun Family Story Walk takes place at French's Ledges in Meriden, New Hampshire (92 Bonner Road). The event is organized as a community fundraiser to support Plainfield Elementary School projects, including an accessible trail and a permanent outdoor Story Walk installation.
The program includes a trail race and a family walk along the trails. Distances offered:
- 10 km trail race
- 1 mile Fun Family Story Walk
Registration details are set in advance: registration opens 21 October 2026 and closes 19 November 2026. The 10K registration fee is $20 prior to 19 November and $25 on race day. Family Story Walk registration is $10 per participant.
Expect local trails and outdoor activities designed around community participation rather than a large production. Awards are listed for top male and female runners. The event emphasizes affordable participation and uses proceeds to improve trail access and install a lasting Story Walk feature for the community.
