Freedom Racing - North Downs Ridge 50k
The event is a fully signed trail ultra following sections of the North Downs Way and running through the Surrey Wildlife Trust reserve of ancient woodland at Norbury Park. The course length is 50k with a total ascent of 2986 ft.
The route is described by the organisers as fairly level for the distance and includes extra race signage in addition to the long distance trail waymarking. There are four checkpoints on course providing food and drinks for competitors. The event is based at Denbies Wine Estate near Dorking.
Entries open on 21 April 2026 and close on 19 February 2027. The published entry fee is £75. The minimum age to enter is 18 on the event date, 21 February 2027. All finishers receive a medal featuring the race logo.
