Frank McNamara Fall X-Country Series
The Frank McNamara Fall X-Country Series is a seven-race cross-country series held in Edmonton, AB, Canada, across multiple city parks and river valley areas between 9 September and 21 October 2026. Events take place on consecutive Wednesdays and use a mass start format.
Race locations listed for the series include Emily Murphy Park, Kinsmen Park, Fort Edmonton / Whitemud Park, Forest Heights Park, and the Saskatchewan Drive / Belgravia multi-use area. Event locations are tentative and subject to change.
Individual race registration fees are shown as CA$18.24 for each listed event. A fall-series package covering all seven events plus event merchandise is listed at CA$99.03. Registration windows in the event information run from 20 May to 21 October 2026.
The series is timed by Results Canada Race Management using a ChronoTrack timing tag. Once issued, participants are responsible for bringing and maintaining their timing tag for the duration of the series; lost or broken tags can be replaced for a flat fee of CA$5.00.
The event materials include a notice that if Alberta Health Services cancels the event for any reason, refunds or credit will not be available. Registered athletes who cannot attend may be able to roll registrations to the Spring 2027 Series or transfer their entry to another athlete; otherwise registrations are final and non-refundable.
