FRAMILY 5K benefiting Friends of Mill Ridge Park
Friends of Mill Ridge Park presents the FRAMILY 5K at Mill Ridge Park in Nashville. The event is the fourth annual edition and takes place on Halloween. It is held on the park's Grassland Loop Trail, which passes meadows, ponds, hilltops, and cedar glades. Participants may choose a shorter paved route instead of the trail.
Participation is free or participants can choose a premium option for $35 that includes an official timing chip, race bib, and an event t-shirt. Results will be posted on-site and online. The event provides refreshments, music, guided stretching, and on-site first aid.
Proceeds support park programs and parkland care carried out by Friends of Mill Ridge Park, an Antioch-based nonprofit that advocates for and enhances Mill Ridge Park.
