About the race
The Festiwal Biegu Rzeźnika is a multi-day running festival based in Cisna that presents a range of trail and ultra-distance events. Editions mentioned in the source include the XII Festiwal (3–6 June 2026) and the XIII Festiwal (26–29 May 2027). Races and supporting events are organised across several days and some race starts use transport arranged by the organisers, for example departures by the Bieszczadzka Kolejka Leśna or chartered buses.
The festival programme includes a variety of race formats and distances held around Cisna and nearby locations. The event series also includes a separate Rzeźnik 500 stage walk along the Główny Szlak Beskidzki (Main Beskid Trail). A touring-format Bieszczadzki Rajd Pieszy is offered with extended time limits, feeding/rest points on the route and commemorative medals.
