Fei Sheehy Challenge
The Fei Sheehy Challenge is organised by Na Sléibhte Hillwalking Club and supported privately by individuals, businesses and the broader hill walking community to showcase the local mountains. The event is one of the hillwalking challenges endorsed by Mountaineering Ireland.
The challenge spans three designated consecutive days, scheduled for Friday 13th to Sunday 15th August 2027. Participants are expected to cross the Comeragh, Galty and Knockmealdown Mountains over those three days. The cumulative distance over the three days is circa 92 km and the total height gain and descent is circa 4,200 m.
Entry options include completing the full three day challenge or electing to take part on one or two of the days instead.
