About the race
The Fausett Farms Sunflower 5K takes place on October 10, 2026 at Fausett Farms Sunflowers in Dawsonville, GA. The event offers a timed 5K and a 1 mile fun run for children and families on course that runs through sunflower fields.
The course is entirely in a sunflower field, includes some uneven terrain, and has one climb at the halfway point of the 5K. Organizers note that sunflowers are not guaranteed for every season; the run will proceed regardless. The farm will have thousands of sunflowers and over a million sunflowers are planned across more than 30 acres of fields.

All registered participants receive continental style breakfast snacks and coffee, an event t-shirt, a finisher gift, and a Chick fil A biscuit after the run. Leashed pets are welcome on the property but may not participate in the run itself. There is an additional $5 per person fee to enter Fausett Farms on the day of the event.
Registration availability opened in July 2026, with a stated price range of USD 38.50 to 48.50 and a scheduled price increase on October 1. Registration closes October 7, 2026.
