About the race
This event is a free, low key, no support trail half marathon held in Winnipeg on Saturday, November 21, 2026, the Saturday closest to the full moon. The route follows river and park trails along the Red River, the Seine River and Fermor, covers a standard half marathon distance of 21.1 km, and starts and finishes at The Forks in downtown Winnipeg (1 Forks Market Rd).
Participants are responsible for their own supplies; the event provides no aid stations. A headlamp is highly recommended. There is no check-in process; participants should go to the meeting point by the Esplanade Riel Bridge between the two stone structures near the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. The event is listed as part of the Manitoba Association of Trail Runners single track runs and is organized by Flat Feats. Route resources are available in multiple formats, including a Google Map, printable PDF, a Strava route and a GPX file.
